Blizzard launches a mobile base: new WoW mount includes repairs and a mailbox

Hearthkeeper’s Wandering Caravan brings repairs, mailbox access, and an onboard hut your character can enter to modern World of Warcraft.

Blizzard has released the Hearthkeeper’s Wandering Caravan ground mount for modern World of Warcraft. Its defining feature is more than its appearance: the caravan carries repair services and mailbox access, and the character can move inside its hut.

What does the caravan provide?

According to Blizzard, the mount lets players repair gear and check mail far from town. Caravan Home Entrance moves the character into the hut and another click returns them to the saddle. It unlocks for all current and future modern WoW characters on the Battle.net account and travels at each character's highest riding speed.

More than a cosmetic mount

Repairs and mail make the caravan genuinely useful, but Blizzard does not promise an Auction House, bank, or flight. Its value therefore depends on how often a player travels away from service hubs. The mount is sold through the in-game shop and Battle.net and is not available in WoW Classic games.
