September 19 was announced as the date for Pirate’s Day 2026. This archived event reminder collects tips for a visit to Booty Bay. Check your own game version’s calendar for current availability; keeping this article online does not mean the celebration is permanently active.

Start with the captain

Blizzard’s event guide points players towards Dread Captain DeMeza. Pirate costumes, harbour celebrations and the shark Ol’Eary feature in the festivities. Classic also has its own version.

Our suggestion is to start at the captain and browse before buying. A short visit does not need to become another completion checklist. The atmosphere is a perfectly good reason to turn up, even if collecting every cosmetic is not your thing.

Check which version you play

Blizzard describes modern WoW and Classic separately. Do not assume that every realm offers identical rewards. Its Classic section lists a 24-hour event.

We recommend checking your in-game calendar and the local vendor before planning around a reward. This article does not promise one universal finishing time. Matching advice to your region and game version matters more than copying someone else’s shopping screenshot.

Make it a small group outing

Bring a friend you have not played with recently, or arrange a quick meeting before your dungeon group starts its evening. A shared harbour screenshot might prove more memorable than squeezing in one more rushed activity.

This is a date-specific event reminder, not a new content patch announcement. Keep the article if it is useful, but check the programme again in future years: an annual celebration does not guarantee an unchanged reward list.
