If your Trading Post wishlist has outgrown your balance, September’s event offers a useful top-up. Winds of Mysterious Fortune awards 500 Trader’s Tender for logging in on five different days during the event. One long session will not replace those five login days.

How to collect the reward

The logins complete the Winds of Particularly Mysterious Fortune achievement. Collect the Tender from the Trading Post’s Collector’s Cache. This is one reward for the five-day requirement, not 500 Tender every day. Blizzard’s event guide.

The European window is September 9–23; the American announcement lists September 8–22. Both begin and end with weekly realm restarts. Use your region’s schedule, and do not assume the event lasts until midnight on its final date.

A good excuse to revisit an alt

Characters at levels 10–89 receive 20% more experience. Reputation gains increase by 50%, but Zul’jarra’s Forces and Tokka’s Crew are excluded. Do not plan around this as a shortcut for those two factions.

Mysterious Satchels can also contain 10% XP potions, bringing the combined experience bonus to 30%. Blizzard’s bonus and reward details.

Our recommendation: finish the login requirement comfortably before the deadline, then spend any extra playtime on an alt or older reputation project you already wanted to revisit. There is little reason to turn a simple login reward into another chore.
