How well do you know Azeroth? Play WoW Trivia solo or challenge your friends
Remember Azeroth's stories, or just the way to the bank? Our WoW Trivia brings solo challenges, dungeon adventures and multiplayer boss fights to your browser.
Remember who betrayed whom, where that familiar gate leads and which boss waits at the end of a dungeon? How about when a friend confidently insists on a completely different answer? We built WoW Trivia for moments like those. Your knowledge of Azeroth can earn points, get you through a dungeon or help your whole group bring down a boss.
WoW Anniversary Trivia is a free browser game in English and Finnish. There is nothing to install. Start on your own or share a lobby code with friends and play together. This is an introduction to our own game, with three ways to get started.
Find out how much of Azeroth you remember
A standard solo round is the simplest place to begin. Choose a difficulty and answer 30 questions. At the time of checking, the general pool contains 1,384 questions about Warcraft's characters, places, stories and adventures, so you are not working through the same fixed list every time.
Easy starts with familiar names and places. Medium and Hard dig into finer details, while Mythic is there when you really want to test your memory. Difficulty does not lock you into one way to play: Timewalking lets you pick one or more eras, and Practice gives you room to learn without competing.

If a regular round feels too forgiving, switch on Hardcore. You have 20 seconds to answer, and your first mistake or timeout ends the round. Suddenly, even the name you definitely knew a moment ago can become a surprisingly difficult question.
Start a solo round. We suggest Easy or Medium for a first attempt. You can always turn things up next time.
In Solo Dungeon, knowledge keeps you alive
Solo Dungeon turns a quiz into a small adventure. You follow a path towards the next boss, consecutive correct answers build your score multiplier, and mistakes cost HP. Your final score is no longer the only thing at stake: you need to make it to the end.
There are four three-encounter trivia adventures to choose from:
- The Deadmines, inspired specifically by its Classic version.
- Shadowfang Keep from the Cataclysm era.
- Stormstout Brewery from Pandaria.
- The Nexus from Wrath of the Lich King.
The journey contains 30 travel questions split into three stretches. Boss encounters add their own questions, so a complete adventure is not exactly 30 questions long. These are trivia adaptations, not recreations of every encounter along the original dungeon routes.

Normal starts you with 30 HP, Heroic with 20 and Mythic with 10. Question difficulty is a separate choice. After each of the first two bosses, open a loot chest and choose an ability and a battle supply to help with what comes next. On Heroic and Mythic, bosses also have adds.
If you want a quiz with a sense of progress and decisions along the way, choose your Solo Dungeon.
Bring friends with a code, not a lengthy sign-up
Multiplayer supports 2–12 players. One person creates a lobby and everyone else joins with its five-digit code. Pick a name and a character class; no registration is required. The host can select eras and adjust the round settings.
Competition is about finishing with the best result. Duel puts two players against each other at a time in best-of-three matches. With a larger group, everyone plays everyone else, so the mode is not limited to a two-player evening.

Raid Boss changes the goal. Instead of beating each other, you work together to defeat a shared enemy. Correct answers damage the boss, while shared mechanic questions ask the group to settle on an answer together. Alongside your individual questions, there are moments when listening to the rest of the team matters.
The boss and players' class-themed attacks appear in combat animations. This time, the familiar raid tension comes from memory and teamwork. Hopefully someone in the group actually knows the answer rather than just sounding convincing.
Create a lobby or join multiplayer. If your group prefers a shared target to a points contest, give Raid Boss a try.
What will you try first?
Solo play is a straightforward test of your memory. Solo Dungeon gives the round a destination and loot along the way. Multiplayer is an excuse to get familiar faces into the same lobby, whether you want to challenge a friend or take down a boss together.
