Your WoW week: name reservation, Kindo’jan and Hallow’s End
Prepare for October 27 name reservation, Kindo’jan’s Fabled deadline at weekly maintenance and Hallow’s End through November 2.
The end of October deserves a few entries in your WoW calendar. Players preparing for Forever can reserve character names, Midnight’s solo challengers have an achievement deadline approaching, and Hallow’s End still leaves time for an autumn collecting trip.
This roundup brings previously announced dates together. Pick the activity that matters to you and give it room in your week; there is no need to turn every event into another obligation.
Three dates to remember
| Activity | When |
|---|---|
| Forever name reservation | Tuesday, October 27, 18:00 CET / 19:00 in Finland |
| Kindo’jan’s Fabled achievement | Scheduled weekly maintenance in the week of October 27 |
| Hallow’s End | Runs through November 2 |
Blizzard’s European Kindo’jan announcement does not give an exact maintenance hour. The Hallow’s End source supplies an end date, so check your region’s in-game calendar before relying on the final evening.
Tuesday: make room for your Forever name
Reservation runs October 27–November 3, with three characters total across all rulesets. Access requires a qualifying purchase for that WoW account. Blizzard lists the Skyborne Heroic Pack, Skyborne Epic Pack and Warcraft Forever Collection; check your package’s benefit before reserving. Names are first come, first served, with no guarantee of your preferred choice. Official conditions and start times.
Good preparation starts with your group. Agree on your preferred way to play and your character plans before Tuesday evening, so those limited reservation slots reflect decisions you actually want to keep. Write down a couple of alternative names, too. Character creation is more enjoyable when another player claiming your favourite does not mean starting the whole conversation again.
Check that Battle.net has the correct WoW account selected and the Forever game version installed. Our name-reservation guide brings the details together.
Kindo’jan: leave room for attempts before maintenance
Blizzard extended the window for Fabled Let Me Solo Him: Kindo’jan after problems during the update’s first week. That extension ends at the coming maintenance week’s scheduled reset. The announcement concerns the achievement deadline; it does not announce the removal of the Labyrinth. Original European announcement.

If the achievement has been your goal, set aside an unhurried attempt before the last evening ahead of maintenance. That leaves space for practice and for a run ending earlier than you hoped. A short break may also help you understand a troublesome moment better than repeatedly attempting it while tired.
Our extension article explains the background. If a technical issue stopped your previous run, check the latest hotfix roundup before trying again.
Hallow’s End: choose your own collecting trip
Hallow’s End runs through November 2. This year’s additions include Quel’Thalas candy buckets, neighbourhood festivities, housing decorations and new achievements. Blizzard’s event guide.

Start by checking what is actually missing from your collection. A decorator might make a short shopping list, an achievement hunter could choose one unfinished objective, and friends can arrange a trip together. That gives the event a manageable place in your available playtime without trying to finish everything in one sitting.
Our full Hallow’s End guide helps you choose activities. If a group raid suits the week better, Zul’Aman is now open: our updated guide covers preparations for the bear run and the changes that matter to returning players.
