How to read these guides
Each guide splits the profession into TBC skill brackets: 1-75, 75-150, 150-225, 225-300 and 300-375. Crafting professions focus on material groups and recipe choices, while gathering professions focus on zone routes and skill requirements. Always compare exact craft counts with the prices on your own realm.
1-75 Apprentice
- Do not vendor cloth while leveling.
- First Aid is good to level as the character progresses.
75-150 Journeyman
- Bandages are useful in actual play too, so the crafts are not wasted.
- Keep trainer or book upgrades on schedule.
150-225 Expert
- If cloth is expensive, level First Aid gradually through leveling and dungeons.
- Mageweave can be contested because of Tailoring.
225-300 Artisan
- Runecloth is used heavily elsewhere too, so save it ahead of time.
- For PvP and solo players, this is a very useful bracket.
300-375 Master / Outland
- TBC First Aid is learned from books, not only from a normal trainer.
- Save Netherweave deliberately between Tailoring and First Aid needs.
