Liquid wins the Coiled Altar World First after 310 pulls – Echo follows to Ula’tek
Liquid and Echo are now 7/8 Mythic. Liquid broke Coiled Altar after 310 pulls before Echo followed, moving the race to Ula’tek.
The Venomous Abyss race reached its final boss on Sunday, August 30. Liquid claimed the Mythic Coiled Altar World First after 310 pulls, and Echo answered with the world-second kill later that same morning. Both guilds are now 7/8 and chasing the decisive Ula’tek kill.
Liquid breaks the raid's biggest wall
Liquid's successful Coiled Altar attempt lasted just over ten and a half minutes. The kill arrived on pull 310 early on Sunday morning. That pull count shows how demanding the raid's penultimate encounter remained even for the best teams in the world.
Echo did not let Liquid hold the advantage for long. The European guild defeated the encounter later that same morning and moved on to Mythic Ula’tek as well.
Echo led visible Ula’tek progress at the cutoff
Ula’tek was still alive in the snapshot taken at 20:30 UTC. A lower remaining percentage represents deeper progress:
- Echo · 7/8: Ula’tek at 76% remaining, phase 2.
- Liquid · 7/8: Ula’tek at 81.2% remaining, phase 2.
- Method · 6/8: still progressing Coiled Altar and very close to a kill.
Those percentages do not yet reveal which guild is better prepared for the later phases. Liquid and Echo can also hide strategies or move some progression off stream, so visible coverage is not always a complete view of the race.
Ula’tek will decide the Season 2 race
The first Mythic Ula’tek kill will end The Venomous Abyss Race to World First. Liquid reached the final boss first, but Echo opened its visible progression strongly. The race remains genuinely open, and the next successful mechanical breakthrough could change the order quickly.
This article is a continuation snapshot locked to August 30 at 20:30 UTC. It preserves the Coiled Altar result even if Ula’tek falls later.
