New Midnight hotfix fixes raid blockers and eases Vashnik in Raid Finder
The August 27 hotfix addresses Venomous Abyss progression bugs, a Temple of Sethraliss despawn, and Vicious Saddle progress.
Blizzard published another Midnight hotfix pass on August 27. The fixes focus on the Venomous Abyss, Temple of Sethraliss, and several class and PvP bugs.
Vashnik is less punishing in Raid Finder
Siphoning Infection and Siphon Blood damage from Vashnik the Malignant has been reduced by 33% in Raid Finder. The healing reduction is now 80%, down from 100%. Siphoning Infection's healing was also increased in Raid Finder, keeping the mechanic important without making it as unforgiving.
The Twin Fangs' Caustic Globule and Barbed Bulwark indicators no longer disappear before impact. The Coiled Altar fix prevents Zul'jan from becoming unkillable in phase 3 when brought to one health at the end of the intermission.
M+, class, and PvP corrections
In Temple of Sethraliss, the Voidbound Emissary can no longer cause Galvazzt to despawn. Protection Paladin's Blessed Hammer can hit Ula'tek's Venomous Heart again, Destruction Warlock's Mayhem remains tracked after a refresh, and Demon Hunter's Blur has its intended PvE strength restored. A bug blocking progress toward the next Vicious Saddle was also fixed.
