Void-touched Azshara outfits and Zothwing mounts arrive in the WoW shop

Azshara-inspired clothing meets the influence of the Old Gods in a new WoW shop collection. Blizzard introduced the Abyssal Crown Collection on September 15, bringing together two transmog sets and two Zothwing mounts.

These are cosmetics for modern World of Warcraft. The announcement does not introduce Forever or Classic rewards, or new gear obtained from a raid.

What is in the collection?

• Azshara’s Darkscale Raiment: the collection’s dark transmog set.
• Azshara’s Deepscale Raiment: a second Azshara-inspired outfit.
• Zothwing Darkseeker: one of the two mounts.
• Zothwing Deepseeker: the other mount variant.

Blizzard offers the items as a collection or individually. If only one outfit or mount appeals to you, the complete bundle is not the only option.

A deliberately striking look

In the official image, gold edges and eye motifs sit against blue, violet and pale surfaces. The mounts’ numerous eyes carry the same Old God theme, with the dark backdrop emphasizing their glowing details.

To us, the main consideration is how strongly the theme dominates the silhouette. These are statement pieces rather than understated additions to any outfit. Before buying, we would check how the head and shoulder shapes work with the character you actually play.

Which characters can use the mounts?

Blizzard says Zothwing mounts can be shared across present and future modern WoW characters. They scale to each character’s fastest known riding skill and also work as ground mounts when the character is not yet high enough level to use a flying mount.
