Forever beta fixes target quest chests, transport disconnects and guild errors
Blizzard announced fixes for missing quest items, occasional disconnects on elevators and transports, and an error when joining or leaving a guild.
Blizzard has announced another small repair pass for the Forever beta. Kaivax's October 6 post focuses on faults that interrupt everyday play rather than a new content stage.
Missing quest items in chests
One fix is intended to address quest items that should restock in a chest but have gone missing. That wording matters: it is a targeted repair, not a guarantee that every blocked quest has been resolved.
If this stopped your progress, checking the chest again is a sensible first step. If it still fails, record the quest name, location and what happened before the item disappeared. That is our practical reporting advice, not a workaround announced by Blizzard.
Elevator, transport and guild errors
In a follow-up message, Kaivax listed an occasional disconnect on elevators or transports and an error when joining or leaving a guild.
This does not establish that all beta connection problems are over. A disconnect during an elevator ride and a login queue problem are different observations; report them separately rather than assuming they share a cause.
A repair pass, not a new level cap
Neither message announces another dungeon opening or level-cap increase. Our earlier level-30 beta article covers that separate content update.
We distinguish an official fix announcement from a firsthand verification: we have not tested these repairs in-game for this article. As the beta changes, the time and build associated with a recurring fault remain useful details to include in a report.
