Midnight class tuning targets dungeon and raid weak spots

The September 22 tuning announcement targets weaker performers. Our highlights explain healer changes, tank trade-offs and why PvP restrictions matter.

The next tuning pass is more than a column of green percentages. Linxy’s announcement aims to help weaker performers and narrow hero-talent disparities. Its headline schedules the changes for September 22; this report does not treat them as already live.

Healer help has different boundaries

Restoration Druid healing rises by 4% and Mistweaver healing by 5% in PvE. Discipline’s Atonement gains 40% additional healing outside raids and battlegrounds.

For a dungeon healer, the useful question is not simply which number looks largest. Does the change help when your group actually needs recovery? Try a familiar key before drawing broad conclusions about the new feel.

Read Blood’s changes as a package

Blood Death Knight ability and minion damage falls by 6%, while Death Strike gains 25%. Deathbringer receives targeted buffs. Marksmanship’s Trick Shots ricochets increase from 60% to 75%.

Those examples illustrate why one buff or nerf cannot settle a composition debate. The balance between single-target damage and larger pulls may matter more to your group than whichever percentage makes the loudest headline.

Keep your current build for comparison

Our advice is to check your specialisation, then your hero talents, then each change’s PvP restrictions. Save your existing setup so that you can compare it with alternatives.

This is a selection of highlights, not a new tier list or a complete translation of the announcement. Read PvE and PvP adjustments together where they affect the same ability. Your own post-update logs and experience will be more useful than declaring a winner in advance.

The announced date also does not establish an exact European activation time. Check the current original post before making plans that depend on weekly maintenance.
