Glory of the Wartorn Hero loses three requirements on the PTR

Midnight’s 12.1.5 PTR removes three requirements from the BfA dungeon meta-achievement. This is a test change, not confirmation of a live rollout.

If your Battle for Azeroth dungeon achievements are unfinished, Midnight’s next test update is worth a look. Blizzard is removing three requirements from Glory of the Wartorn Hero on the 12.1.5 PTR.

Linxy’s latest development-note update was posted September 22 at 21:31 UTC, already September 23 at 00:31 in Finland. It is separate from the thread’s original early-September overview.

    Which requirements are removed?

    The new PTR note names:

    • Snake Eyes
    • Snake Eater
    • Good Night, Sweet Prince

Blizzard says these are no longer needed for Glory of the Wartorn Hero in the test version. The post does not announce the removal of the individual achievements from the game.

Check your list rather than assuming completion

The useful next step is to look at what your own character still needs. If other requirements remain, this announcement does not mean the job is finished.

Consider saving your current progress before the update. That makes a later comparison easier than relying on memory. If friends are arranging an achievement run, distinguish between outstanding objectives and requirements that may still change.

This is not a live-server change yet

The PTR is a test environment. We cannot promise a live activation time, an automatically delivered reward or retroactive completion in the current game.

We would not cancel a planned group evening solely because of a test note. If these three objectives are your only targets, waiting depends on whether you want the achievements themselves or simply the completed meta.

A small update with clear boundaries

This week’s post is brief. It should not be stretched into a promise to overhaul every old dungeon achievement.

Our earlier PTR overview covers the broader update. We will continue to distinguish test-server plans from changes to the live game.
