Midnight combat fixes arrive · TBC Season 2 gear gets cheaper

The latest fixes address Nalorakk and the Lost Explorers, while TBC players can buy Season 2 off-pieces at reduced Honor prices.

For players filling gaps in their Outland PvP gear, the most useful change is at the vendor. In Midnight, the focus is on abilities and encounters behaving as intended. The September 10 hotfix batch covers both games, but it is not a blanket raid difficulty reduction.

TBC: check the Honor vendor before your next purchase

Arena Season 2 belts, bracers, boots, rings and necklaces are now available at reduced Honor prices. Visit the Hall of Legends in Orgrimmar or Champion’s Hall in Stormwind. Blizzard’s hotfix notes.

The announcement does not list individual prices or a universal discount percentage. Compare your current equipment with the vendor’s actual inventory before buying. Nor should this be read as a promise that every Season 2 item, including weapons, has become cheaper.

Midnight: interrupts should have the intended result

Den of Nalorakk receives a fix for Echoing Maul triggering unintentionally. In The Venomous Abyss, interrupting Mor’zahi’s Final Ascension during the Lost Explorers encounter now resets its escalating damage.

For raid groups, the latter is a reason to keep interrupt assignments clear: the fix concerns what happens when the interrupt succeeds. It does not, by itself, call for rewriting the entire encounter strategy.

Class fixes and a more persistent Prey buff

Survival Hunter’s Wildfire Bomb gets a fix for missing initial damage when the hunter is crowd-controlled as the bomb lands. Protection Paladin’s Glory of the Vanguard should also deal its intended full damage to the primary target.

The Prey buff from Afflicted and Tormented Souls no longer disappears on death or when switching specializations, among other situations. The full daily list also covers other classes and Delves.

If you are looking for the earlier Ula’tek phase-transition or Antivenom trinket fixes, those are in our September 9 roundup. Check the date within Blizzard’s rolling page: its latest headline does not mean every older entry is a new change.

    Original hotfix notes

A roundup of Blizzard’s September 10, 2026 fixes, checked on September 11. This is a separate batch from our September 9 hotfix story.
