Forever beyond level 30: the Riverglades and Hyjal await
What awaits beyond level 30 in WoW Forever? A new video, Riverglades travel routes and Hyjal’s next adventure help you plan the journey ahead.
Forever’s beta has shown the opening stretch. Beyond level 30, the most inviting question is where the next road leads. Blizzard’s October 19 video, *Your Leveling Journey Past 30*, turns attention towards the Riverglades and Mount Hyjal in a presentation lasting just under seven minutes. Official video.
Its release is a useful moment to look ahead through a player’s map: where does a new zone connect to familiar territory, when might a character visit, and what is worth leaving unexplored until you arrive? We combine the video’s publication details with Blizzard’s earlier zone previews below. This is a preview, not an account of our own playtest.
Watch the new preview before planning your next route

World of Warcraft
The official video description names the Riverglades and Hyjal as destinations ahead. Its publication does not, by itself, announce a higher beta level cap or full access to those zones. The distinction between a preview and content opened on a server matters when planning your next beta session.
Two questions make useful viewing companions: what about the environment invites exploration, and what would you prefer to discover without a guide? Both offer a better starting point than trying to extract a complete quest route from a short presentation.
Riverglades: a new port between familiar lands
The Riverglades’ location makes it interesting before the first quest. Blizzard connects it to the territory around the Burning Steppes, Redridge, the Swamp of Sorrows and the Badlands. A shipping route from the Steamwheedle Cartel in Tanaris leads to Powderfuse Port. Found Photos zone overview.
That gives the journey a tangible starting point. A harbour is somewhere a group can agree to meet and begin an expedition. In our view, a shared departure point also helps friends who level at different speeds: the next group session can revolve around a place, even when everybody’s experience bar is in a different position.

Blizzard’s What’s Next recap places much of the Riverglades experience around the mid-30s to mid-40s. Treat that as a broad route-planning guide, rather than a promise that every quest unlocks at one particular level. Groups involved in the zone include the Powderfuse goblins, Twilight’s Hammer and the Brotherhood of the Horse. Blizzard’s content preview.
For a first visit, leave some room in your bags and some flexibility in your itinerary. Trying to fit every quest into a tightly scheduled circuit risks overlooking a new zone’s strongest attraction: the opportunity to follow a direction you do not yet know.
Hyjal: what follows a great battle?
Hyjal’s starting point is the world after Archimonde’s defeat. Blizzard’s preview describes exploring a recovering land and Darkwhisper Gorge. The name is familiar, but the appeal of the expedition lies in finding out what the place becomes after the battle. Official Hyjal description.

Keep adventuring through the zone separate from the independently announced Hyjal Summit raid. A raid name appearing in a preview does not establish the difficulty, route or access requirements of ordinary questing. We also do not treat this presentation as confirmation that older raid encounters will return unchanged.
If Warcraft III’s events are familiar, Hyjal offers a natural destination for unhurried exploration. If they are not, the zone need not become homework: its landscape, quest characters and local problems should be able to carry the journey. Readers who want the background can find the historical connections in our long-form Forever lore feature.
Plan the shared expedition and leave the quest list open
Our suggestion for a first journey is straightforward: choose a meeting point, agree how much time the group has, and leave space for a detour. Agreeing on a shared pace is more useful than assembling a promise of perfect experience gains from unfinished previews.
The Riverglades and Hyjal offer two different invitations. One opens a new connection between familiar regions; the other returns players to an important landscape in Warcraft’s history. Playing will reveal how their quests actually pace the journey. The new video supplies something to anticipate without settling the entire expedition in advance.
