Midnight Season 2's eight boss raid opened on August 18, 2026. This launch-week guide is based on the official Adventure Journal structure and published 12.1 mechanics; percentages or subsequent nerfs are not guessed.

Phase plan and tactic
Step 1
Direct the venom waves away from the eggs and kill only the adds that hatch in a controlled manner. The raid lead confirms the next transition with a call.
Step 2
Group up designated groups for each Spectral Coils soak. The raid lead confirms the next transition with a call.

Focus on Wardens in the mid phase and keep addicooldowns. The raid lead confirms the next transition with a call.
Step 4
Plan the Demolish order so that the last safe zone remains in the final burn. The raid lead confirms the next transition with a call.
Role notes

Tanks

  • Keep the boss direction and dangerous adds out of the raid; change by tank buff or energy cycle.
  • Announce taunts, movement and big defensives to healers in advance.

Healers

  • Distribute dispels, target healing and raid cooldowns before the pull.
  • Prepare for predictable raid damage with energy, mid phase or add wave.

Melee DPS

  • Avoid the front cones and keep the movement path even in a tight cleave.
  • Switch to priority add right from the call; uptime does not override soak or dodge responsibility.

Ranged DPS

  • Spread in a controlled manner and take care of orbits, adds and targets that spawn in the distance.
  • Leave the permanent areas on the edge marked by the raid lead.

raid utility

  • Agree is interrupt, dispel, stun, slow, grip and immunity rotations.
  • Only use combat Resurrection if the roleplay of the next mandatory mechanic is otherwise broken.

Nerfs: what changed
