D&D: World of Warcraft brings Azeroth to the tabletop in November
The official D&D: World of Warcraft expansion includes 13 WoW classes, 16 species, seven dungeons, and an Icecrown Citadel adventure.
Azeroth officially reaches the tabletop on November 17, 2026. D&D: World of Warcraft is not a WoW video-game expansion; it is a Dungeons & Dragons gameplay expansion for building original campaigns in Warcraft's world.
What is in the book?
- rules for all 13 WoW classes, with six new and three updated subclasses
- 16 playable species and guidance for more than 40 specializations
- 60+ spells, at least 25 magic items, and 10+ professions
- 50+ monsters and stat blocks for 30 dungeon bosses
- seven adapted locations: Azjol-Nerub, Blackfathom Deeps, Deadmines, Dire Maul, Onyxia's Lair, Scarlet Monastery, and Shadowfang Keep
Icecrown Citadel becomes an adventure
The separate Icecrown Citadel pack includes a digital level 16–20 adventure with five chapters, ten maps, and ten boss encounters. Its physical package adds five double-sided maps and token sheets.
Master Tier subscribers receive digital early access on November 3. Selected physical-and-digital bundles also include items redeemable in modern World of Warcraft; those rewards are not compatible with WoW Classic.
